Talk: Inclusive Design Series: Building your best UX through accessible images, colour, and charts

Why would you build an accessible design if it’s just going to make your site or application look dated, ugly, or unappealing? Agreed – don’t do that! Often times, images, colour, and engaging data visualization can make a site more accessible to people with disabilities than it would be without those features.

In this mini-workshop, we’ll review some design techniques that empower you to create your best user experience when using accessible images, colour, and interactive charts. Just as design is largely technology agnostic, you can apply these practical recommendations when designing for any platform.

Following this workshop will be a 20 min group discussion.
